Putting policing at the heart of London communities was the aim of the Met Police’s Safer Neighbourhoods scheme. Submerge worked in partnership with the Met Police to develop a London-wide content strategy, delivering accessible information and crime prevention advice to thousands of homes across the capital. Submerge produced poster campaigns, magazines and advice mailings designed to reduce crime and reassure Londoners. The result was an increase in the visibility and confidence in community policing, and a reduction in crimes including burglary and fraud.
